Pressure is a setting, not a virtue
Concrete takes a hot, high-pressure surface cleaner and comes back to the colour it was poured. Pavers and stamped concrete take far less, because the same wand that strips a slab will blow joint sand out and cut the pattern off a stamp.
What actually comes off
Most of what darkens a drive is algae and mildew growing in the pores, not dirt sitting on top. That is why a rinse does almost nothing and a proper clean lasts a season or two.
Rust, oil and tyre marks are separate treatments, and honest companies say so before they start rather than after.
